We are also extremely proud to say that we came away from the Lincolnshire Sports Awards 2017 as ‘Active Workplace of the Year’! After winning the title in 2014, we were delighted to learn we had been shortlisted; but recognised we were up against some very tough competition – including two-time winners Rockstar and Siemens.
When our name was announced by Paul Banton, from category sponsors, Ruddocks, we were delighted and extremely surprised!
We are passionate about promoting an active and healthy lifestyle to our employees, and we work hard to keep that momentum going. This starts at the very top of our business; with our Directors cycling from London to Paris in aid of British Heart Foundation. Then from Lincoln 10k to our 8-week walking challenge, which led to many staff creating a ‘WorkWeek Hustle’ step challenge using activity trackers to compete against each other; we’ve had a busy year getting active and we plan to continue!
Thank you to the whole team at Active Lincolnshire for organising another great evening to celebrate the sporting stars of our county, we always come away feeling inspired!
