Following its success last year, which saw over 1,000 people from 54 organisations cycle over 60,000 miles, we were pleased to hear about the return of the Lincoln Cycle Challenge for 2014, organised by Access LN6.
The aim of the project is the promote a healthy lifestyle within the county, reduce carbon emissions and road congestion, which we think are all excellent reasons to take part!
This year’s event runs from Monday 16th June until Sunday 13th July, and absolutely everyone can take part! We will be encouraging our employees to ditch their cars in favour of cycling to work as much as possible, as well as promoting the benefits of cycling as a leisure/fitness activity.
The nice people at Access LN6 have also organised some great prizes which are up for grabs throughout the challenge, with a bit of friendly competition from logging your journeys via their website – seeing who can cycle the most miles!
