Supporting Lincolnshire Action Trust’s Young Oasis Scheme

When we found out that we had six Amazon Fire tablets within the business which were surplus to our requirements, but were brand new and sealed, we made it our mission to find a local organisation who might be able to put them to good use!
We contacted local news outlet, The Lincolnite, who referred us to an article which they’d run earlier in the month. Lincolnshire Action Trust’s Young Oasis project provides support, guidance and encouragement to Lincolnshire children and young people affected by the substance misuse of a parent or family member.
A phone call later, and we’d arranged for Lauren Mumby, Performance and Development Manager at LAT, to come and collect the spare tablets, along with some cases and screen protectors the very next day! We were delighted to hear that they’ll be put to good use and will even be able to help with homework.
