Did you know that the National Minimum Wage is increasing from 1st October 2012?
The current main rate for workers aged 21 and over is £6.08 per hour – this is increasing to £6.19 per hour
For workers aged between 18-20, the rate is remaining at £4.98
For workers aged between 16-18, the rate is remaining at £3.68
If you are an apprentice (for apprentices aged under 19, or over 19 but in their first year of apprenticeship) the rate is increasing from £2.60 per hour to £2.65 per hour.
