In March 2012, Lincoln Rotary Club organised a Swimarathon event held at Yarborough Leisure Centre in Lincoln.
177 swimmers took part (including a team from Ambitions Personnel) and between them swam a total 5250 lengths – which is over 65 miles!
The final fundraising figure has just been announced as £4,500 plus gift aid, taking the figure to an amazing £5,000!
The money raised has gone to various local charities – including LIVES.
We look forward to taking part in next year’s event!
