ambitions personnel to run the Lincoln 10k to raise money for Beaumond House Hospice in Newark
A team of runners from ambitions personnel are already in training to prepare for the challenge of this year’s Lincoln 10k event, which is being held on Sunday 7th April 2013.
13 staff members have taken up the challenge and are all aiming to finish the 6 ¼ mile course in the best times possible and raise money through sponsorship.
The runners will be supported by colleagues from ambitions – who will be handing out our hand clappers to the crowds of spectators lining the route, and asking for donations for Beaumond House in return.
Beaumond House Community Hospice based in Newark is a well known local charity, who provides care and support for over 400 patients with terminal or life limiting illnesses and their families every year.
Mandy Watson, Director, says “Beaumond House is such a worthwhile cause, and the work they do has touched the lives of so many local people, we try to support them as much as possible. We feel it is important to give back to the communities in which we operate through events such as the Lincoln 10k and our upcoming 5-a-side football events later in the year”
