Last night saw our second Ambitions 5-a-side event held at Magnus School in Newark! With an impressive turn out of 24 teams from local businesses and organisations, the players battled it out through the group stages, quarter and semi finals – until it came down to SYC v Timico in the grand final.
Congratulations to SYC who took home the trophy following a 2-0 victory in the final!
Special thanks to the new Mayor of Newark, Mr Tom Bickley, who joined us to ‘kick off’ proceedings – in his first official engagement as Town Mayor since being elected on Sunday. We wish him well in his role!
Also a massive thank you to everyone who kindly donated raffle prizes for the evening – including Knowhow, Blue Castle, Mamma White’s Pancake Parlour, No Angel, Ann et vin, Masdings, Zizzis and Superbowl. We have raised over £200 from the raffle alone!
