Lincolnshire Sports Awards 2016

We were proud to once again be sponsors of the award for ‘Young Sportswoman of the Year’ at this year’s Lincolnshire Sports Awards. The ceremony, held on Thursday 3rd November, at the Lincolnshire Showground’s Epic Centre, was, as always, jam packed with inspirational stories of our county’s sporting heroes.

Presented by TV and radio sports commentator, Conor McNamara, we enjoyed a brilliant evening.

Nominated for our sponsored award were three of the county’s most promising young female talent.

Darcie Proud for her table tennis (ranked second nationally for U13s) and footballing achievements, Naya Patel who represented England U17 at EU nations water polo and Olivia Clark who has played football for England U15 team and represents Lincolnshire in cricket too.

Despite all being very worthy nominees, Naya Patel was crowned winner on the night.  Congratulations to Naya.

We wish them all well with their future sporting endeavours. Thank you to the Lincolnshire Sports team for hosting another great event.
