Run and have fun to help the young!

As a company who have always strongly valued community and sporting events, we are extremely proud to be this year’s Market Rasen 10k official sponsor! We’re excited to be a part of such a fun-filled, community embracing and charitable day, helping raise money for a great cause.

The event will take place on Sunday 23rd November from 10am at Market Rasen Racecourse.

Online entries have now closed but there are a limited number of race day entries available at £15.00.

The great thing about this event is that it’s open to all and everyone is welcome. It is not just an event for serious distance runners – you can run, jog or walk! Join us, and get involved in a fantastic community event.

Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) is the registered charity that this year’s Market Rasen 10k is supporting. The charity has been working to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death. CRY supports young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions and offers bereavement support to families. CRY promotes and develops heart screening programmes and funds medical research. CRY is definitely a charity worth supporting! Find out how you can raise funds for this hugely important charity by contacting Marc Rhodes on 01522 585 580 or email marc.rhodes@lincolnshiresport.com.

Mandy Watson, Managing Director at ambitions embraces the fact that it’s a sporting event for all and expresses why ambitions are sponsoring the event… “We are delighted to be sponsors of the Market Rasen 10k this year. Last year’s event saw over 450 runners from all over the county take part, and we like the fact that it’s open to all abilities, walkers and joggers too – not just serious runners. It can be difficult at this time of the year to keep fitness levels up and stay motivated, so this is a great opportunity for the whole cross section of the community to get together and complete the course and help raise money for charity”

This multi – terrain event has a great reputation and is an important date on the community calendar. The event has seen an impressive turn out in past years, and it looks like that this year is going to be no exception as over 500 people are expected to step over the start line on Sunday.

Good luck to everyone taking part, and don’t forget to tweet us @ambitionsltd with a picture of you and your friends with your free t-shirt after the run! #APMR10k
