Retaining our REC Audited Status!

We are pleased to announce that we have retained our Audited status with the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) for the third time.

We were assessed against the requirements of the Employment Agencies Act, the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 and the REC’s Code of Professional Practice.

This scheme run by the REC, the professional body for the UK’s £25 billion private recruitment industry, is the most comprehensive audit of its kind. It provides successful recruiters with an accreditation that is recognised by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), confirming that the agency is conducting its business both ethically and in accordance with the above requirements.

Commenting on achieving REC Audited status, Amanda Watson, Managing Director of Ambitions Personnel says:

“We are delighted to have achieved Audited status for the third time since January 2006, when we were one of the first to receive this award. We strive to work to the highest industry standards and Audited status ‘rubber stamps’ our ongoing commitment to compliance and best practice. Next year we celebrate 25 successful years in business and we are looking forward to what the future holds”

REC chief executive, Kevin Green added:

“Congratulations to Ambitions Personnel for achieving REC Audited status. In doing so they join an elite group of recruitment agencies across the UK that has achieved this high standard. This accreditation recognises that we have rigorously audited Ambitions Personnel and found that it is performing to the highest professional standards and represents best practice in our sector.”
